Spooky Sips: Top 4 drinks for fall!

By Ava Krysko
As you're walking to class on a crisp, cool autumn morning and taking in all of the beautiful scenery, there's nothing better than having a fall drink in your hand to accompany you on your journey.
Taking that first sip of a pumpkin spice latte while watching the leaves change is a life-changing experience, helping to ease your mind and body into the transition of the seasons. Of course, not everyone is a fan of these warm, aromatic flavors, and some may prefer the fruity, rich flavor of apples or the creamy, sweet flavor of banana — both of which make excellent drink inclusions.
If pumpkin spice isn't really your thing (or even if it is), here are five other fall drinks that are so good, you'll practically forget all about the popularity of basic PSLs.
Alani Nu's Witch's Brew
If you're looking for something to give you your caffeine fix for the day, but don't have an affinity for coffee, Alani's Witch's Brew energy drink will surely do the trick (or treat).
This caramel apple-flavored beverage tastes just like what it's described as: a tangy, caramelly green apple. Sipping it almost gives you the exact same feeling as biting into
Apple Cider
Whether you like to serve it hot or cold, apple cider is the epitome of a fall drink. With similar flavors of pumpkin spice, such as cinnamon, but with apple instead of pumpkin, apple cider is a great alternative.
This makes it perfect for those who enjoy spicy, sweet notes in their drinks but don't care for pumpkin flavor in the same way.
Hot Chocolate
Although some may see this decadent drink as more of a winter indulgence, I firmly believe that hot chocolate is meant just as much for fall as it is for the snowy season. Warming up with a cup of it after classes is a great way to wind down and relax.
Not to mention, you can buy all sorts of flavored hot chocolate, such as salted caramel or maple cinnamon, making it the perfect customizable sweet treat for crunching on fallen leaves.
Starbucks Snoopy Cookie Frappuccino
I couldn't finish this list without adding the Snoopy Cookie Frappuccino. Although it's a new addition to Starbucks' menu, it's already captured my heart and cemented itself as a fall favorite.
With a vanilla bean and white mocha Frappuccino base, pumpkin spice cold foam and a topping of cookie crumbles, this drink is perfect for those who don't love pumpkin spice but like to have a little of it here and there.
Dirty sodas with apple or maple flavors, iced chai's and autumnal teas are also great go-to's for the "bur" months. No matter what you choose, though, having a staple drink for fall just makes the season that much more enjoyable and festive.
