Spring break may be one of a college student’s favorite parts of the spring semester. A break from class, the ability to get away from campus for a week, and for many, the chance to go on a trip of a lifetime.
Whether heading to Miami, Fort Lauderdale, home, or any other spring break destination, packing for the occasion is bound to bring out clothes from the back of the wardrobe. This signifies the transition into spring and summer fashion.
Baby tees, corset tops, matching sets, slip dresses, they all start making their appearances across the fashion-sphere starting with this March break.
The exciting energy of the week pushes fashion towards summer energy. Stores start summer sales, putting out their spring and summer releases. The anticipation of what will be trendy excites us all.
According to Glamour, this year’s fashion trends are expecting to bring a bohemian-coastal style mix. Boat shoes, layered necklaces, lace, and darker colored looks are expected to hit with summer approaching
After spring break, fashion on college campuses shifts. Slowly, shorts and athleisure become the new “in” look. Sunbathing on the HUB-Robeson lawn becomes a part of a student's daily schedule.
