Who is Happy Valley Hannah? A Deeper Look at Hannah Morris

State College influencers are constantly popping up around Penn State’s campus—but this content creator has helped change the game with her branding as your favorite mom friend: Happy Valley Hannah. 

Hannah Morris, also known as Happy Valley Hannah on Instagram, is an up and coming influencer in the State College area. Morris is not just a lifestyle creator, but a mom of two.

“Happy Valley Hannah is a mix of all the things I love,” she states. “It’s everyday life with little bits of sparkle, too.”

Morris entered the content world after a friend suggested she check out hyper-local creation. She already documented life with her children, making the transition onto a platform simple.

With the brand only turning two this upcoming October, Morris is still working on how to balance life as an influencer and mom. With social media not being a structured job, influencers are working around the clock on the brand. As a mother, Morris is limited to content creation when her kids are in school or asleep for the night.

“It's hard. It's hard to ‘turn off.’ It's hard to not look at my phone when I'm awaiting work emails. It's also really fun too, though. My kids love what I do and they love being a part of my content.”

Throughout her time figuring out life as an influencer, Morris has partnered with different brands. Some of her favorite brand deals include her dress content with PACT and her work on the Free Breakfasts in PA program with the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

When asked for advice to give to future influencers, Morris explained that consistency is a necessity, and burn-out is okay.

“Things will happen when they're meant to,” Morris said. “Just try not to lose sight of the things you love. Figure out a way you can combine that with what you're good at.“

Some tips she has include to batch content for release, set aside time to check-in and to always schedule yourself a day off.
